When BoltonSICT first started to support Oxford Grove Primary School, the head teacher Nadine Harvey said that one of her aims for the schools was to develop the use of IT through the school, to enhance teaching and learning, with a long term view of achieving the ICT Mark.
The ICT Mark is awarded to schools with good use of technology to support teaching, learning and school administration. Deservedly popular with schools wanting to demonstrate both effective and mature use of technology. Schools use this award to drive change and many are, or go on to be, outstanding.
Our unit is proud to have played their part in supporting the whole school on their journey of development. This has included infrastructure review, teaching and learning model lessons and observations, feedback from staff, parents and more importantly pupils.
After a rigorous assessment process, school are please to announce that they were successful in their application and were awarded the ICT Mark last week!
The video below show the highlights from the showcase tour of technology used across the whole school.
Well Done from all at SICT!
