Making Christmas Games using Scratch

Maria has had a busy run up to Christmas delivering Christmas theme workshops – here are some highlights from St Brendan’s RC Primary.

We had a great afternoon making Christmas games on Scratch with Maria Temel from Bolton SICT. We added flying objects, changed variables such as the speed and added timers and scoreboards to our games. (Ref: St Brendan’s School Blog Yr6)

And so we have our winner …

A massive thank you to everyone who sent in entries for our Schools ICT Design a Christmas Card┬ácompetition. We had a great time in the office looking through all your wonderful entries. They were all fabulous and made it very hard for us to choose but after some serious conversations the winner has to be Finley’s entry from St Saviour CE Primary School – Well Done!

Finley’s card will be the official 2016┬áChristmas Card from the Schools ICT unit so look out for it coming to your school soon. Finley has won a morning of Scratch programming for his class in January.

Once again thank you for all your entries and hard work.

Bring on the mince pies!
